The PLC Institute is the premier summertime professional development opportunity for primary level educators. The institute is held annually in Sheridan, Wyoming on the beautiful Sheridan College campus and is open to educators from across the region and the United States. During the institute, attendees join dynamic and successful “professional learning communities,” participate in customized breakout sessions, and listen to innovative keynote speakers to learn the teaching techniques used by the best school districts.
When approached with rebranding The PLC Institute, we started with the purpose: learning together. We incorporated colors representing primary level education and com bubbles representing the collaboration between teachers at the event. A colorful, iconic sub-logo and a strong catch phrase made this logo really stand out and resonate with the teachers and learning professionals alike.
Creative, strategy, partnership and execution allowed for this project to not only shine from an aesthetic perspective but to thrive and succeed as an event that helped our primary level educators in Wyoming improve and learn together.
