When tasked with an economic development project for Johnson County, we asked current businesses that had moved what sold them on moving their business. We asked entrepreneurs what fueled them to start up. The answer given was simple consistent; scenery and community. We created a brand to represent that community and showcase the scenery we’d heard so much about. Herd & Scene is a media hub that captures the essence of Johnson County, Wyoming, and its inhabitants.
Johnson county isn’t a complicated place, and we made sure that was well represented and communicated in the brand.
Throughout the brands collateral, you’ll see Community and scenery represented and boasted. We designed sub logos to represent the towns that make up Johnson County and give their residents buy in and a pride in a badge to boast their own community through the brand.
The website is all about Johnson County. What is it like to live here? What does it look like, what does it feel like? We wanted to create a digital experience that online “shoppers” could consider for their business and their family. A brand, a feeling, a hub for the community to communicate with those considering a move; and for outsiders to get a glimpse into Johnson County and leave them wanting more.
