With these videos, we wanted to offer quick engaging daily content in short form that would be just enough to draw viewers in, give them something funny and unique, and have them asking for more at the end. The ultimate goal was to drive traffic back to the brand each and every day, while getting shares, comments, and likes.
The character of Grandma Hilda is easy to connect with and the sort of thing you want to show your friends. We wanted to showcase different niches of the gaming world while bringing them together in a package that was interesting to a wide crowd even beyond gaming enthusiasts. We shot 29 videos in 1 day with 80-year-old Grandma Helen (she chose the Hilda name) and were able to spread those out over a month to keep users coming back. If you’re from Northern Wyoming, you may even recognize the lovable character.
