Development of the Brand
Go Fast Don’t Die is a lifestyle brand that launched approximately one year ago that began as a side project among some of our team members at Flood. They created a logo and brand and printed a couple shirts that they wore while riding motorcycles, generating content mostly through Instagram and Facebook.
Once they saw that there was legitimate interest in the shirts, they took the next baby-step in seeing this project become a viable business by creating an online store, while putting in their first order of printed shirts. Over the next 6 months, orders trickled in and they saw an increase in their following, generating $1400 in sales through new social media pages with little organic following and without any paid advertising.
Expanding for a Larger Consumer Base
In May of this year, they made the strategic decision to leap into the process of quickly scaling their business by adding several new products to their store, placing an order for higher product quantities, and beginning an aggressive ad spend strategy. That increase resulted in 751 orders, 21,071 online store visits and $36100 in online sales and an average of 5.55x return on ad spend (ROAS) over 4.5 months, with some ads reaching an average ROAS of 10.07x. In addition, they have seen an increase in sales nearly every month.
The Current Status
Looking Towards the Horizon
Beyond these incredible results, Go Fast Don’t Die has been able to foster some incredibly valuable industry partnerships, successfully execute a media event with 70+ motorcycle riders paid for by sponsors in the industry, thus preparing them for a successful new product launch in time for the holiday season.
